KEITH JACOBSEN

My career started way back in 1988 at BBC Television as a trainee camera operator where I was trained to the exacting standards that the BBC required.

Over the years I have had the opportunity to work on many live and pre-recorded television shows, from Red Dwarf to Mrs Brown's Boys, Newsround to Chucklevision, Channel Four News to News At Ten, Emmerdale to Coronation Street.

I have a passion for well made television, continuing to learn and adapt to new technology and shooting formats - but one thing that hasn't changed is the pride I take in my work.

 

My work has personally attracted 3 RTS awards, a Prix de Circom award and I have been on the crew of many BAFTA winning and nominated television programmes.

​

I am available as a studio or OB camera operator or as a single camera unit complete with a full Sony FX9 shooting kit that is configurable for news, documentary or film set ups. Additional equipment such as specialist grips, lenses and lighting can be easily added when required.

​

I am a member of the Guild of Television Camera Professionals.
